Letter to future coworkers
Hello!
My name is Emily Liu, a product designer and an enthusiastic explorer in the fields of edtech and sustainable product design. I navigate between the seemingly parallel yet interconnected worlds of AI-driven hardcore technology and education.
At the start of my career, I focused on product design in the tech industry, dedicated to solving complex technical challenges and turning innovative ideas into tangible products. However, as I delved deeper, I gradually realized that what truly fascinated me wasn’t just the technology itself, but how technology helps people build more genuine and profound connections.
While rapid technological advancements have undoubtedly reshaped the world, I’ve noticed that the human-centered experience often gets overlooked in this wave of progress. This led me to question whether design could go beyond mere product functionality and instead focus more on the interactions and relationships between users and the world around them.
With this mindset, I gradually shifted my focus towards the education sector. Education is not just the transmission of knowledge but also an exchange of emotions and values. I firmly believe that through design, we can create more inclusive and interactive learning environments, making the learning process not only enjoyable but also impactful at a deeper level.
The shift from technology to education has been a journey of seeking essence for me. I hope my designs can serve as bridges between people, not just tools or products. Whether in classrooms or virtual spaces, I aim to use design to help people better understand each other and grow together.
If you are also interested in the design of education, technology, or future product trends, I would love to connect and explore more possibilities with you.
Best Wishes,
Emily
